Amazing! Immediately bookmarked :) How do you manage to keep it free? Looks like it took a ton of work to make it happen.

What I found is that Building in Public is very close to contributing to open-source projects on GitHub. You roll-out your idea as frequently as possible, raw, and get people commenting. You get some good feedback and adjust fast!
But your point gives another angle to the entire concept! I'm currently working on a language learning app that explains grammar of sentences,...

Nice! How have you came up with the business model, that is, how do you calculate the flat fee? Are you planning to make a launch for it on PH?
I'm currently also building a productized service. I used to be a freelancer 5 years ago, but these days, it seems going productized is the best way to stand out :)
Hello there meet Chetan, I am building a productized service.

Looks useful! Are you planning to also allow people to chat one with another? Are you planning to do something like learning assist from the AI, like, if you don't know how to say something, it will explain to you and help you learn faster?

Congratulations on the launch Marc!
This topic is actually close to me as I've been trying to learn Japanese for a while :) I'm a fan of j-pop so I want to learn from the lyrics of my favorite songs. And with GPT-4, I found it's really good to learn grammar with!
One piece of feedback: there's no free trial on your app, so for a new user, there's no way to evaluate what you're offering...

I think where it shines best is in a combination with a human. A good example, e.g., is GitHub Copilot. An extension to code editors for programmers, it tries to guess what the programmer wants to write and writes it for the programmer.
If a human writes code on their own, there are certain chunks that are tedious to write and that you look up online anyway. Like finding a difference between...

Education. I make sure that at all times there is a mentor figure whom I follow and learn from. It's usually super hard to find people who would *really* impact you. But once you found them, the cost of learning from them is negligible compared to the returns you get.
So far, education has been the greatest impact-creator in my life.

I'm actually also in the same domain, and struggling with the same problem. I'm doing courses on programming fundamentals (https://akmetiuk.com/scala-intro) in text and video format. So far, my stack is:
- GatsbyJS-based blog where I publish the text as a separate section.
- Video seminars go to YouTube.
- Community lives on a Discord server.
- Events are automated using Make.com and Airtable...
Need recommendations for text based technical course creation platform.

Notion is great if you are the kind of person who prefers to create their own rules and frameworks. If following other people's systems sounds more like you, dedicated project management software would work better than Notion. The power of Notion is in that it gives you a couple of building blocks and lets you build whatever you want from it.

I'm working on a personal finance app that allows you to plan for a gap year.
Everyone's financial goals are different β someone wants to save for retirement, someone is investing, and someone is trying to fix a credit card debt. Different goals require a different software solution to keep you on track.
My current objective is to take a gap year and travel the world after my current job. So...
