What stops most people from turning their app ideas into real, usable apps? Let's discuss.
Over the past year, while building AppWhiz (a no-code platform to help anyone build production-ready mobile apps without coding), we kept encountering the same patterns while speaking with founders, creators, and small business owners.
Tons of people have app ideas for loyalty programs, community apps, digital catalogs, personal projects...
Very few go from idea working app App Store / Play Store ready.
Why?
Some reasons we've heard (and felt ourselves!):
"I don't know how to code."
"Hiring developers is too expensive."
"No-code tools are either too limited or don't make production-level apps."
"Compliance, privacy, and store guidelines sound overwhelming."
My non-AI app made $8000 USD in 2 months. Here’s how I did it
I ve been building AI wrappers for the past 3 years as an indie hacker. None of them became profitable. Building failed products taught me how to code, design and market properly. And one day all those skills paid out
The idea
2 months ago Skype announced it was closing down. Most people used Skype for video calls, but there was a niche of people who used Skype to make cheap international calls to mobile and landline numbers. That was a golden opportunity major playing leaving the market, and its users scrambling for an alternative.
What’s one tool or habit that 10x’d your productivity this year?
Lately, I ve been reflecting on what small changes have had the biggest impact not the flashy stuff, but the actually useful tools or habits that changed the way I work.
For me, it was time-blocking with Notion + calendar integration it helped me stop context-switching so much.
Curious to hear what s worked for you all PH's?
