So Snapchat has run out of big things to innovate on app-wise, and with augmented reality/world lenses really being the last frontier, Facebook senses it and basically gets their first. I don't think they care that much how successful it is product wise, more important for them to shut that door on Snapchat moving into the space. Killer move!

How were you guys able to convince Instagram to use their API for this purpose? It sounds like they want to prevent apps/services like this that are based on just better navigating their content. Or are you just publicly scraping with some black box magic?

Tough road ahead... Can they capture the magic twice? My money is on no.

Would be cool if there was an option for 1/2 a box. I can't imagine most people eat all 21 meals at home per week, but does make sense for sharing or dual households.

Fascinating! What about stuff like Xrays/imaging? Typically on lower end health plans they aren't covered at all and seems like a major gap for most people on an ACA health plan.

Found this on Techcrunch, look like an innovative addition to the Prisma/MSQRD/Snapchat Filter space.

Kind of crazy to wear this around in a social setting. I see value in a BAC reading before certain tasks.. ie driving a car or leaving a bar or not feeling well. But otherwise this is silly.

Who is the target customer? Anyone with the right tech skills will probably not be interested as its too bespoke to save much time. And if someone doesn't have the tech skills then them buying the source code is essentially useless.

Is there enough passion in the community to sustain as a stand alone social app in addition to Instagram? I see a tough road here.

Curious if theres any weakness in the granularity of the anonymized data to be able to reverse engineer specific houses/addresses in less populated areas?

How are you growing the product, I imagine a lot of grassroots marketing? What has been most effective so far?
