> Instead of COPYING, we should do REFERRING. I had this idea for over two years. A lot of time, I found myself copying data from one app/website to another. The problem with copying is that: you lose all context of your result. To fix it, I thought instead of copying; we should do refering. Sadly, there is no "Ctrl/Cmd+C" for referring on any OS. As I dug deeper, I found some computer visionaries Ted Nelson also had this idea. Since 2019, PKM tools like RoamResearch, and Obsidian had some progress in making a personal knowledge base with links, but no one has bought the idea of linking/referring to cross-app level. What Will Be the Best AI Video Enhancer Tools in 2024?
With the rapid advancement of AI technology for video editing, I think we'll see some really amazing AI-powered video enhancers emerge in 2024. Things like resolution upscaling, frame interpolation, color correction, and image sharpening will get even better. One tool I'm especially excited about is Wink's upcoming retouching and restoration tool for videos. They've been pioneering AI for photo enhancement for a while now, but extending that into video could be really groundbreaking. Imagine being able to retouch blemishes, smooth skin, restore old/damaged videos, and more with incredible quality. Beyond Wink, I expect companies like Adobe, Topaz, and DXO to push what's possible with AI video enhancement as well. Some key improvements I hope to see: Even better upscaling - being able to boost 480p or 720p video to near 4K quality. Smoother interpolate frame rates - making 24fps video look like 60fps+. More accurate color grading and correction. Intelligent object removal/addition in video. Better stability and anti-shake technology.
