I don't think we've pivoted yet at Artus, but we've made significant evolutions of the product several times to the point where it can be considered a different product altogether. Some might call them pivots but to us they just felt like the next logical step.
How many times did you "pivot" your product ?

Unless it's an emergency or a unique opportunity, I try to avoid the task altogether. I've noticed that when you're managing a young team, most problems that others come to you with end up solving themselves if you don't involve yourself with them.
What's your strategy for dealing with unexpected tasks that disrupt your productivity?

Great question Abdul! We haven't tried anything quirky yet at Artus but we definitely plan to soon!
What's the quirkiest way you've ever marketed your product?

Loved the blog post Cristina! I've applied to YC before and didn't get in but will be trying again now that we've made some progress. It's nice to actually see a successful application instead of just hearing "tips and tricks"

Is Y Combinator worth it?
Let's hear everyone's opinion. How many of us on Product Hunt have thought about applying to YC?
If you thought about it and then decided not to, why?
If you're one of the few that applied and got accepted, how big of a difference does it make?

Without a doubt Paid Ads can be eliminated from a tight budget plan if need be. It forces founders to find organic channels for growth and build their audiences the healthy way. Ads can then be brought on as a supplemental marketing push once you have the resources
With limited launch resources and to increase speed to market, which pillar is the least impactful?

Honestly, everything has been overshadowed by GPT for better or worse. But without a doubt there are some good startups and founders that have come up in these past few months

Kinda have to take the third door here and say niche helps you penetrate the market like a sharp needle, rather than a blunt knife (general value). But once you’re inside the market, you can expand beyond your niche and attempt to become an all-in-one solution

Work from a beach 🏖, or work from a hill station?
Hill stations are beautiful but I think they're too cold to live there. I vote beach.

Gotta invite the team up for beers later. In my experience, it is very easy to leave work relationships within Zoom. But when I took the initiative to invite everyone out for drinks, even if just once, working together for the next many months certainly became a lot more meaningful.

Ive been wondering the same thing lately. I've been told one definitely has to use both but I'm still trying to find that balance
