Wake up with routine. Even teens crave rules and structure. They just don’t know it. (I was a teen therapist for a while). So as human beings we need the routine.

One that doesn’t censor. There’s been a twitter storm over us Substack writers. Anyone who has clicked on our links were warned of spam. I just navigated my whole website to the newsletter because it made sense. As I was bantering that it was in error, suddenly the algorithm took away the spam message. Is that the algorithm you are talking about?

Linked in is consistently geared towards professionals. Twitter is a town hall format to express opinions, news…..I believe most politicians, celebrities….handle their own twitter accounts and may outsource other social media account operations, so Twitter works well for that reason.

Coffee….I schedule my Monday emails & posts, as I think of how to set the focus for the week as I think of it all weekend. So Monday morning, I adjust to the week ahead. If I work Saturday, Monday I run my errands too, but the rest of the world starts their week and I am in tune with this as well.

When I researched sourdough bread, the “experts” recommended I purchase a $70+ Dutch oven mainly for the steam it produces. As a retired mental health therapist who worked with children and teens, I have concerns with ai. Depending on a machine for learning is just that; their brain will be wired around learning with ai. Critical thinking is being redefined to critical prompts with ai. Our brains don’t fully develop until 26yo. Uncharted territory. Lots to consider.

One word….data….how do we protect user data?

I see clients Saturday. Sometimes I enjoy doing my Costco run on a relatively quiet Monday:)
