I appreciate this product - it's very nicely designed, simple to use, and quick to set up. Great that it's free, and I really like the UX of having the notifications come through my Twitter DM's. That allows me to set up push notifications easily, too.
Eager to see the future of the product, and my own Twitter growth!

đź‘‹ I'm Jordan, CTO of Phonesites. As entrepreneurs and marketers, we used about every landing page product out there. The popup "you must log in from a desktop to access" limited our productivity.
We wanted to launch pages and entire funnels in minutes, not weeks. And we wanted to do it on any device, from anywhere!
So we built Phonesites. The first and only mobile-first landing page web app...

Hey PH community! I'd love feedback on the idea, and the main two use cases: sales & support. This system requires no real phone, only a web browser (webrtc p2p video + screen sharing).
I was inspired to build this by a comment with a partner (on another SaaS): "if i have a team i want to scale quickly, they should be focused on 1 thing and 1 thing only"...
They do a lot of online...

CallKite is "Your website’s video call center in just one click.".. It's a click-to-call widget (or link) that fires up a video-chat or screen share. No phone or hardware required, just a web browser.

This is kinda creepy & interesting at once. What kinds of professions could benefit from a tool like this? Reporters are the first thing that came to my mind.. but I guess you'd have to tap it every minute, and it's only in 1 min bites.. I'm guessing that can be adjusted or will be in the future, for that use case.

Whoa... This hunt really caught my eye (nudge nudge).. But srsly, I'm getting some booze and trying this out tonight, comparing it to my keychain breathalyzer. My main concern is how accurate it might be?
The first iTunes comment:
"I followed the instructions 100%. We tried it over and over sober. With myself and wife and my neighbours and it always says don't drive you've been drinking....

This seems to have a problem with the SSL connection. And the plain http://packageindex.com points to a default squatting landing page http://packageindex.com/defaultsite..

So this is a "phileas & fogg" product.. meaning you built this on a Costa Rica getaway/hackathon in 80 days, right? This is an extremely interesting way to launch a product! What was that experience like? I'll be trying out your product too, I think something like this will definitely save me a lot of time.

This is interesting.. I think the pricing plans are attractive, the simple json api is nice... but how reliable is the data provided? A lot of other geolocation providers have either A) higher prices, or B) not the freshest IP data.. So the absence of info about the data quality/sources puts up a soft red flag for me as a potential user.
Edit: Also.. same questions apply for the weather data....
