Graph of our growth after finishing #3 product of the day
Monday 2nd of September, we did our first ever product hunt launch for Choppity. Our expectations were low, we were looking to get to leaderboard (top 10) and gain a little awareness and UX feedback. We finished at #3 Product of the day, with hundreds of comments and many actionable feedback points that will massively influence the future of the product. How do you keep up with social media video creation as the demand grows?
Videos are the best performing media types on social, and consumers are favouring video over static posts more and more. It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the demand, because video editing has not been scalable. What tools or tips have you found helpful in creating more video content efficiently? Whether it's project management tools, video editing tools, or recording equipment, I'd love to hear what's working for you. On a similar note, we've launched Choppity ClipAnything. It allows you to find any moment of any long video using natural language. It's aimed at speeding up the time it takes to search through a video and make social content. If that's something you're dealing with, check it out at https://www.producthunt.com/post... Keen to see your thoughts and tool recommendations!
Thank you Product Hunt community 💜: Our Launch Success Story
My cofounder and I have been wanting to launch on Product Hunt for ages. When we suddenly needed to launch a feature within 10 days, we worked around the clock to get it done. Given that it was our first ever launch, the short turnaround time and amount of work that our team of 2 had to do, our expectations for the launch were low (top 10 leaderboard, a few sign ups and UX feedback points to work on). The results were INSANE. We got to top 3 (#3 product of the day), had over 200 comments, and amazing feature improvement suggestions which will MASSIVELY influence the next iterations of the feature. How did we manage? We spent the full day of launch intensively reaching out to members of the PH community, that we've spoken to before and that we hadn't. Specifically, we didn't ask directly for support. We asked them to take a look at a our launch, and support if they wanted to/liked the product. Most of the people we reached out to were keen to support and had some really insightful comments! We're so grateful to the product hunt community for having supported us in this way <3 it's such a strong community of helpful and forward thinking individuals, and our first launch hugely exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for the support <3 You can see our launch page and some of the insightful comments left by awesome product hunters here: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
