Hi @dan_o_malley, I noticed you’re launching soon and wanted to take this opportunity to connect.
Would you be interested in supporting each other’s work?
As a solo dev, I recently launched my first tool publicly and tested several platforms to get traction. Here’s a breakdown of the results:

Is ProductHunt ... DEAD for indie makers?
Following recent bad experiences shared by @nico_jeannen and the focus on Product Hunt (PH) after its acquisition by AngelList, highlighted by @dagorenouf on X/Twitter (sources below).
It appears that PH has been leaning towards favoring startups over indie makers.
Will this platform remain community-focused for indie makers like us?
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Of course, there are cases where I consolidate all discussions from customers to create a structured sentiment analysis for my client.
As for high-quality prompts, it doesn’t matter as much, since the new AI models are smart enough to understand what I mean and what I want.
If there’s a way for me to achieve a specific result without too much effort? Definitely!

Hi there, I’m Aaron. Nice to meet you!
I’ve been a serial builder since 2016, passionate about web and mobile apps, UX design, and even IoT.
Funny enough, this year marks the first time I’m launching my own online tool. Check it out if you can—it’s a converter that turns YouTube videos into Twitter threads.

If you're referring to random strangers online, I did it by writing tutorial articles on Medium or Hackernoon about the problem I was trying to solve and providing initial guidance on how they could do it themselves. Only then would I subtly promote my project at the end of the article, explaining how it could save them time by using the project directly.
How did you find your first few customers?
