There is also a comprehensive vocabulary list with German, English and Chinese columns, and all stories come in a version that has those vocabulary items highlighted.

These days, my wife is preparing for her A1 German exam. To help her prepare, I wrote these stories. I used short sentences, basic vocabulary and tried to avoid complicated grammar (e.g. no Genitiv). But does the use of simple language mean the story has to be bland? I don't think so!

I imagine, this could be useful to visualise or put into context some time scales, like geological time scales (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geologic_time_scale), or human history and such...
