I've been using the beta for a few weeks and I have 80 fasts total logged. I love the redesign and the simplicity of the app.. especially the v3 notifications for "time left". I do miss seeing the bar graphs of previous fasts that the old version had -- it was a good way to see more chain of progress. I know the new one has that functionality but it's a bit buried.
I used this app to start my intermittent fasting. One of the best fasting apps.
I tried Zero Plus for a few weeks. Didn’t work for me, I didn’t lose anything or see any results. I cancelled any further auto renewal subscriptions, which Zero confirmed the cancellation via email. I was charged a week later for a whole Yearly subscription even though they said they cancelled before auto renewal date. I contacted Apple asking for a refund as they are my billing. Apple confirmed that Zero did not cancel my subscription, they went ahead processed a yearly subscription. I contacted Zero, they replied they don’t give refunds saying take it up with Apple. Apple said Zero did not cancel took the money. Extremely dissatisfied disappointed, Zero charged me and won’t refund! Definitely avoid this App this company and do not risk losing your money.
Incredible app, been using for a couple of months. Yay, v3. Oh wait, it now requires an account. Sadly, uninstalled. Privacy and offline capable apps are possible, so do not switch from that model without warning users, this is very bad practice IMHO.
Easy to use, very useful for tracking day to day, and a great resource for info. Perfect app to stay on track with my health goals!
Thanks for a Zero has been a great app from the start, the added features will be a great way to keep up with the fasting and learn some new things along the way.
Been using 2.0 for over a year and have absolutely loved it even before this update. While the previous build was simple and useful it was lacking in features but was also free so it was understandable. This update fills in any gaps I had before while still maintaining the insane FREE price tag. Thank you, Kevin Rose, for not capitalizing off the wellness of human beings with your suite of apps like Zero and Oak.
I've used Zero for over a year and I loved it as a quick fasting tracker. It was simple and worked well. Now 3.0 has landed and I cannot use the app anymore without signing up for an account. I don't want an account, I don't want to be email spammed (it's in the privacy policy), I don't want to be part of a fasting community. Zero was great because it was simple. Now it's not. The developers state they added the account because people would lose their data. It's an iOS app, use CloudKit. I'd much rather pay a few bucks for Zero than have this new monetized version that is using my data for marketing.
