Great if you know (or learn) how to use it for your own good; find good, reliable sources of information and quality content channels of topics that interests you. This can be a little time consuming tho, because there are thousands of channels and YT keeps suggesting the same ones over and over again until you get lucky. Annoying ads - premium subscription makes the problem a little better but doesn't solve it.
I occasionally use YouTube. I rely on this platform to search for tutorials when I'm unfamiliar with a topic. Therefore, I find it to be a very useful tool for learning and acquiring knowledge.
