Hey Product Hunt! I built YouTube Shuffle to give you a fun way to discover new videos on YouTube. It's a Chrome extension that adds a button beside the YouTube logo, letting you open a random video from the page. This way you can just keep clicking the button until you find something you like. It's a simple tool, but I think it's pretty helpful for when you don't know what to watch. Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas for improvements.

@jean_mayer Hi, it doesn't work on Edge. Clicking shuffle icon is redirecting to new blank page. edit: How that extension is selecting new videos based on my interest with 1 click? I can't find any interest list, extension is reading my active yt watched history?

@adrian_ratajczak Hi! Thanks for the feedback. No, the extension doesn't read any sensitive data. The extension basically creates a list of every video that is in the page (your youtube home page, for example), and opens in a new tab a random url from this list. I assume YouTube recommendations are of interest to you 😃
