Hey everyone! We built Dudes because, honestly, managing relationships the “normal” way just wasn’t working for us. As nerdy indie hackers, trying to remember everyone’s birthdays, favorite snacks, and random inside jokes without Facebook, endless calendar alerts and 5 other apps felt way too tedious. So this past summer, we put our heads together and built DudesDB — an AI-powered assistant that helps you actually remember the people you care about. You can add birthdays, allergies, hobbies, shoe sizes, favorite Pokémon — literally any little thing that makes your relationships feel more personal. DudesDB will remind you by email or Telegram, and there’s even an AI chat to help brainstorm gifts or activities when you’re out of ideas. And yes — I’ve already bought at least 3 gifts thanks to DudesDB that I would have 120% forgotten otherwise. We decided to launch it now because, even though it started as a silly little project, it turned out to be surprisingly useful in real life. If you’re like us — busy, a little forgetful, but still wanting to be thoughtful — we think you’ll love it. We’d be super grateful for your feedback, ideas, and stories! And to kick off the discussion: what’s one small thing someone remembered about you that made you feel really appreciated?
