Great Open Source collaboration product, very good alternative to Confluence.
XWiki is like a Swiss Army knife for organizing information. It's open-source, so you can tinker with it and shape it to fit your team's needs exactly, which is awesome if you're into customization. I've discovered the XWiki product long before I joined their team. At that time it actually surprised me how well it works, how flexible it is and how easily I adapted to it coming from everyday work with Confluence. Joining the XWiki team later that year I got the chance to really explore even the more complex parts of the product... Honestly, this product is an underrated BEAST of knowledge management. This highly customizable and multifaceted solution covers pretty much anything you'd need as an organization looking to manage knowledge. I can easily say it's the best open-source intranet software.
