I loved the idea. I haven't seen any like this before. A couple of questions though @ramaprasanna
1. Is this just a hobby project?
2. IMO, using this for formal business communication won't be a great idea. Its great for communication among team members, friends/ family etc? What are your thoughts?

To answer your questions:
1 - XpressMail was completely developed in-house. We've worked on it for quite a bit and the result is not just a hobby project but a product that can become the next wave in email communication. New features will be added in the near future - stay tuned :)
2 - While XpressMail is great to connect with team members, it is also an excellent tool for business communication. Video mails helps marketers, freelancers, real estate agents, teachers and just about any person that sends emails :)
The advantages of video mails are many. Listing down a few for you:
- Save time - now instead of sending long emails you can just record your video and convey the right message
- Tone - its difficult to assess anyone's tone from a normal email. With video mails you can express yourself effectively according to any business setting
- Interest - generate interest and stand out from the rest by sending a video
- Create top-of-mind awareness
- Long term benefits include building trust and a good rapport with your clients
