👋 Hi folks! I'm Matan! I’m back again with another exciting release from Writer. I work on the Product team @Writer. We're on a mission to help companies transform how they work with generative AI. We've been at it for close to four years helping companies like Accenture, Dropbox, L'Oreal, and Vanguard, build AI apps on our full-stack, generative AI platform. Today, we’re excited to add two new domain-specific models, Palmyra-Med and Palmyra-Fin, to our family of Writer-built LLMs. These models change the game for generative AI in healthcare and finance, unlocking new use cases with their top-benchmarked accuracy and deep industry expertise. Here’s the run down on the two models Palmyra-Med-70b 🚀Average benchmark across the MMLU tests ~86%, outperforming other top models 👨‍⚕️Great for diagnosing, planning treatments, medical research, insurance coding and billing 📃Open-model license for non-commercial use cases Palmyra-Fin-70b 🚀Passed the CFA Level III exam with a 73% score — the first model to do so 💸Skilled at complex tasks like investment research, financial analysis, and sentiment analysis 📈Outperformed other top models on a long-fin-eval test of real-world use cases 📃Open-model license for non-commercial use cases I’m really excited about what this means for developers on Writer AI Studio. You can quickly build powerful AI products and features with just a few lines of code. Products that have access to extensive knowledge of complex healthcare and financial concepts, and a powerful toolbelt of domain-specific skills.
