We launched this extension as a replacement for the screenshot extensions we use every day. A reliable screenshot tool is important for your workflow, whether your taking quick screen grabs for customer support or trying to visually show something to some one - speed matters. But so does reliability. Time and time again with many screenshot extensions we'd grab a portion of the screen only to end up with an empty screenshot! vShot fixes this. With a variety of other extensions like this on the market, we wanted to make one that was lightweight, fast, reliable, and most importantly free!
