Changing my order was a breeze thanks to their amazing customer support. Clear, fast communication, and my issue resolved quickly.
I have used volta chargers for 3 years now, and i have to say this is not getting any better. The service response is terrible so don't look at the life time warranty as a plus. Because you will end up being forced to buy another replacement cable elsewhere while waiting for this replacement. We are talking about 2-3 weeks of back and forth emails and finally getting it shipped. The tip is always breaking as the msterial to hold the metal cover and the circuit inside it always falls apart. The cable o ly charges fast if the brick is a good and has good circuit connection. Even the slightest disalignment will affect the whole charging speed. Still waiting for John to reply after 2 weeks 😪
Originally had an earlier version of 60w spark that had overheated USB C tip. After a bit of a stalemate on getting any sort of replacement (John from) Volta reached out and offered up a replacement set free of charge. The communication and updates were first rate and within a week or so a new updated version with improved case and tips arrived and problems solved. Hence the updated and revised score. I appreciate the company finalizing and correcting the issue with the replacement.
Standard quality and a customer service that is second to none. They help you out with anything in a reasonable timeframe. Great charging system overall best I've experienced so far.
I have been reviewing Volta’s products since last September and they have got great products! They work well and I use it as a daily driver on my MacBook Pro. It’s easy for it to just snap into place without effort. Would recommend.
Been using this charger for over a year and absolutely in love with the versatility. It's the only cable I travel with and I have a second one in my office to swap between different devices when they need charging. Has saved me so much headache over routing different cables around my desk for different devices.
I've been using Volta Products from 2017. Their magnetic cables are the most reliable ones out there, not to mention the fact that its the only one that stays on when charging and using your devices. They've come a long way since then with Spark, VoltaGo, GaN chargers etc and all of them are top notch. The GaN chargers have travelled with me around the world as it comes with plugs for different countries. Most of them are working 24*7 charging laptops and devices for close to 2 years now. Now coming up on warranty, they provide lifetime warranty. I've gotten free replacement tips 3-4 times. They even replaced a whole 200W GaN charger after a year of use because 2 ports stopped working. Definitely a genuine company with great products!
To say that my experience was negative is an understatement. Long delays after order, little to no response to email, wrong items delivered and they have gone MIA. I would rather weave my own cable than use them again. Cool concept - horrendous service!
I was lucky enough to be sent a test cable (silver 1m) in 2017 and I was really impressed by the quality. I am still using the cable (along with about 6 others in various lengths which I have purchased) on a daily basis. The look and feel of these cables oozes quality and I have never had an issue with any of them. The led light is also really helpful when trying to locate the end of the cable in the dark :-)
Once you try a Volta cable, you'll never want to go back to using a standard charging cable ever again.
Over the years, Volta have introduced new charging products such as the Volta Anchor, Volta Giga GaN chargers in various wattages, and more recently the VoltaGo, a wireless foldable battery pack, and the Volta TravelGo, a multi-country charger. I have had nothing but great experiences when dealing with support – not that I have really had much need to do so. I continue to use Volta cables and chargers on a daily basis to help keep my tech charged up and ready to go.
Charger stopped working after 1-2 weeks. Customer service is absolutely terrible taking 1 week or so to respond to emails. They will not process warranty or return without original packaging. These are now useless paper weights. Terrible company, would not recommend.
