A cross-platform desktop tool that allows you to easily modify media files by describing in normal language what you want to get done (for the technical folks: a FFmpeg chat wrapper). Made for creators by creators.

Ludwig, this product is a game-changer for anyone working with media files! The ability to batch-process tasks like changing video resolutions is a huge time-saver. The natural language processing feature is particularly impressive—no more scouring the web for how-tos. I appreciate the focus on professional standards and the potential to save storage space with high-quality compression. Can't wait to try it out and give more feedback. And good luck with the push-ups! 💪
Congratulations on the launch, Ludwig! 🎉 The ability to batch-process video resolutions is a game-changer for content creators dealing with multiple files. I love how intuitive the feature to describe tasks in natural language is—this will save so much time and hassle. Plus, compressing videos without quality loss is a huge win for storage management. Excited to see how this tool evolves! Best of luck with the push-ups! 💪
Ludwig, this tool sounds like a real game-changer for content creators! The ability to batch-process tasks and use natural language commands to edit media files is a huge time-saver. I'm especially impressed with the compression feature that retains quality—this will be a boon for anyone dealing with limited storage. Can't wait to see how it performs in real-world scenarios. Best of luck with the push-ups and the launch!
The examples shown look very nice 🔥
Are you planning to add a basic video editor to this tool? And maybe a feature where you can upload LUTs (like you did with the adio file) and apply them to videos?
@federico_zuluaga_knorr Oh LUTs is in fact a really good idea, didn't ever think of this use case yet!
But in fact it should work already (didn't test it though)!
@federico_zuluaga_knorr And yes, adding some simple timeline UI is something I also thought about, for the beginning I wanted to try to keep it to the chat interface but maybe it would be nice to add those...
Congrats on the launch! How well does the tool handle complex video editing tasks? Can you give some examples of natural language commands that work particularly well?
@kyrylosilin Thank you Kyrylo!! Videofyles is not for complex editing yet but more for "processing" tasks like compressing videos to smaller file size, changing resolution of a whole video, cropping it etc.
And then the commands can be super simple like "Compress these 5 videos to smaller file size" or "cut out the first 10s of the video and make it a GIF"
