We built Unsellable specifically because we were frustrated - first, by getting rugged and losing money on some of our NFT investments… and second, because they became illiquid, and we couldn’t even realize our losses to properly write them off. @joshua_bretana @unsellablenfts This would cost a bit more in the gas fees, but you could send back a newly minted NFT with the same image. It'd be entirely worthless, but it allows you to burn the NFT and keep the art in your wallet. Would definitely be a good bit of effort, so you definitely should explore the market demand for that.

@joshua_bretana @scalfino That's an interesting concept! We had considered about having our own NFT that gets minted when you user our service, but didn't think about re-creating their burned nft. We ultimately decided to keep things simple as the tax impacts of buying, selling, airdropping NFTs is already complicated enough. But will keep that in mind for future product updates!
