It's really funny, I was just searching for a tool that could give strong summaries of images that I could then search back for later and I stumble on Trickle, looks excellent and looking forward to trying it out!
When Trickle first launched, I was instantly hooked ! The freedom to share ideas 💡 across teams with the same ease as tweeting 🐦 - no pressure, just pure collaboration. Now, the features have expanded to organizing, sorting, and searching your working tweets in a databases . Trust me, it a big game changer! I'm super excited 😄 to see the immense progress the Trickle team has made over the past years. They've introduced a comprehensive database feature 📚, AI assittant 🤖, and a slick, user-friendly interface 👌. The leap forward is simply astounding 🚀. Hats off to the Trickle team for consistently exceeding expectations and pushing boundaries. I can't wait to see what they'll roll out next 🎉!"

As a heavy screenshot user with of thousands of images stored going back years, I definitely see the value here, but there are three big missing features that kind of destroyed my enthusiasm and turn a five star product into a middling curiosity: 1. There is no way to retry or edit the AI summary. Sometimes GPT gets it wrong the first time; and it looks like all you can do if you get a trash summary is delete the image and try again. 2. The fact that I have to manually upload everything. There is no way I'm going to remember to do this, so it turns into a periodic chore. Give me a small application that watches my screenshot folder for new images and automatically upload them. 3. The "bulk upload" tool is limited to 30 images at a time. I don't have time for that.
nice work! i actually saw someone begging for this on twitter recently, is the embedding index have text and image embeddings? like could i look for dog screenshots (if not this would be cool feature) or auto foldering by image embeddings!
Congrats on the launch! Looks great guys, and love the website 🙂 I agree that a desktop integrated app would be great, so it magically goes into Trickle without needing to submit it - but of course, that can come later! Good work.
