@bentossell Hi Ben. Good question, and I'm not sure I've got a great answer but hopefully good enough.
> What makes this a better 'go-to' site for movie trailers/news/etc?
At root, that's not our primary goal, which is to prove the viability of the .TUBE gTLD and demonstrate how it's a good "fit" for video-oriented content.
* Specific to viability, one of the key "tests" was to see if we could get indexed. Thankfully that's not proven to be an issue as Google's had no problem indexing .TUBE URLs.
* Specific to being a good fit, that's somewhat in the eye of the beholder. A few decades ago "tube" was slang for TV and now it's virtually synonymous with online video so I think there's something there.
More to the point of your question, a few highlights...
* Simple, unique descriptions of every movie AND trailer on the site written by an actual writer.
* Fun and/or timely articles with ongoing updates about upcoming movies...
https://www.trailers.tube/articl...https://www.trailers.tube/articl...
* Interesting "collections" that most sites ignore or don't have trailers for....
https://www.trailers.tube/collec...https://www.trailers.tube/collec...
* Clean layout that I hope is easy on the eyes and easy to navigate without a ton of crap. (Not sure if this is valid but damn if most of these sites aren't horrendous.)
That's all I got... hope it answers your question!

P.S. Should also mention that this site is a (paid) labor of love with a team of two people and not a massive behemoth that's quietly part of Comcast or something ;)
