Really excited to share tictoku with the producthunt users. We've seen really positive response from childern learning about math and strategy.
A little background on the concept:
The basics for the game of Tictoku were initially developed several years ago by Dr. Richard Shuntich. He developed Tictoku primarily with the intent of teaching his grandchildren basic math and strategy skills in a competitive, quick-play game. Dr. Shuntich was a psychology professor at Eastern Kentucky University and had a real passion for education, kids, and challenging puzzles.
After Dr. Shuntich passed away in 2011, one of his three sons, Dan Shuntich, became committed to developing and launching an App for Tictoku. Dan was a mentor of mine, and when he shared the vision I had to bring it to life.
Now in App form, the mission of TicToku remains the same as Dr. Shuntich’s original vision: to help educate and challenge minds. The App is free to download, with half of profits earned from TicToku’s in-game advertising donated to causes Dr. Shuntich supported.
Amazing work. You really did a great job to make this alternative of tiktok. I have seen many more likes on play store, you can see example on snaptik app.
