👋 Hi Product Hunt community, Back with another side project, third in 3 months 😬🚀! ⌛ Background I built this extension with a friend 3 years ago under a different name (Stiqur) but was obviously inexperienced in terms of figuring out how to distribute it successfully. And seeing little to no traction, after inputting embarrassingly low effort to market the product, we effectively gave up 😢 After three years, I am finally back to exercising my maker muscles 💪, and I couldn't think of a better side project to bring back! 🤔 What is it and what can I do with Ticksy Extension? Its a simple and free chrome extension which allows Twitter users to simply hover over stock cashtags like $TWTR on Twitter from their timeline and see real-time stock price data in the form of a preview card (similar to profile preview cards)! Additionally you can also capture and share a screenshot of the price preview card and send more contextual tweets when discussing a stock. 🧐 Who is it for? Anyone who is tired of switching tabs to check stock prices when talking about stocks or interacting with a tweet containing a specific stock. But especially created for the Finance Twitter community!! 💸💰 Not affiliated with Twitter!
