We want to help startup founders to learn faster than anyone else. Entrepreneurship is at times a hard and lonely journey. But it does not have to be. This is your mastermind group, and these people will be your support group for the rest of your journey.
Give it a try, and let us know what you think.
@vladstan@ovinegrean Congrats on the launch!
So how is this different from a normal mastermind group? I think the biggest challenge in getting a group right, is to get matched up with the right people (that are in the same stage as you...). There are services that help for a one time fee, however with underdogs.io there is a subscription. I guess, the value in paying for this continuously is getting an advisor. Someone who can be reached out to.
I would be interested to hear about how this goes (beyond the early adopters) and I am thinking if adding a base tier - just a matchup - and then have something like "advisors on demand" would be something to be considered??
@kovlex@vladstan Thanks for the questions Levi!
Indeed, we don't just find you the best match for your group, but we also provide a dedicated Chair.
The chair is, in fact the facilitator who is a coach so will know how to properly guide you and keep you growing and accountable.
Because yes, it's quite important to have the right people in the group, but you also need a group leader to drive the group forward.
The mentoring is done also specifically on the problems the group members might have.
We are considering the matchup service as well for the future. Thanks for the suggestion.
@kovlex@ovinegrean Of course there are many self organized groups. But having someone to organize the process, to facilitate the meetings and make sure everyone has his voice, it's very important. The coach will ask everyone to prepare for the meetings, will be in touch with everyone and of course will keep the meeting under control.
Yes, we bring advisors/mentors on demand. The coach will ask the group to find an advisor first, but if they can't we can provide one.
Nice one @vladstan!. Is there a way people can pick groups depending on their specific pain points? For example, a SaaS may be struggling for pricing strategies, or content marketing strategy, or for deriving meaningful results from metrics. Is there a way I can pick people for what exactly I am struggling with?
@vingar Not really. These groups are for long term. Of course you discuss about your problems, but you don't want to change the group every time you have a problem. I mean you can, but you loose the bounding. This group can become your support group for a long period. And at some point if you dont need a chair the group can continue self organized.
