The SF Minute is San Francisco's premier local newsletter. Every Monday-Friday, we sift through all the city's news to bring you what's most important and interesting. The result is a quick, easy-to-read email that keeps you updated on what's happening here.
I started The SF Minute because I couldn't find a quick and easy way to stay on top of San Francisco news. We have great local news outlets and journalists in the city, but my idea was to bring it all together in a thoughtful way.
Previously, I covered tech for Business Insider and The Information. So although San Francisco is a new "beat" for me, I have the reporting experience I thought necessary to start something like The SF Minute. It's been a lot of fun so far.
If you live in San Francisco (or left and miss us already), I'd love for you to subscribe and follow along.
I hope it helps! - Nick B.
Was quite excited to see this on PH this AM. I've been a subscriber for a few months and it's one of the only email newsletters where I actually read every issue. It takes ~90 seconds to skim for a pulse of what's happening in the city, and Nick has a nuanced approach that is rare in SF reporting & politics.
I used to live in the Bay Area, but now live in Atlanta so having access to local, impactful stories about San Francisco and the surrounding areas has been amazing. I miss that part of the country a lot. Cannot recommend this newsletter enough. Nick is fantastic reporter and writer. Get on this!
