We consider blockchain and cryptocurrencies to be one of the most important emerging technologies with the potential to induce a level of change akin to the introduction of the internet itself. The innovations and their precipitates come with a dense vocabulary, and complicated concepts. We’re dedicated to tracking and analysing the resultant trends and themes, parsing the jargon and grasping the abstractions. And delivering daily updates to a website which will furnish you with news and understanding from the latest of bitcoin’s offspring. With cryptocurrencies diluting the control of central banks and established financial institutions, and blockchain removing the need for third parties, as this technology develops society will begin to change shape. As that happens we intend to have opinions and take stances, and we look forward to those opinions and stances being challenging and challenged.

@ligaze For cryptocurrencies regulation is the key mover of the market at present, and it's the biggest open question regarding the integration of cryptocurrencies into a country's financial infrastructure. It's something we're following closely! In addition there is the speed and cost of cryptocurrencies, both of which must come down in order for it to become usable for the average consumer. The lightning network is a big step in this direction. For blockchain in many ways we're still waiting for that first, big, new company which is going to make significant mainstream gains from blockchain technology, and tech updates which improve operating speed and cost will play a big part in this too.
