Hey everyone! I'm Tyler Corsair and I began Teslascope to provide an affordable, easy-to-use web platform for Tesla vehicle owners to track their travels, effortlessly share driving/charging sessions with friends, and participate in the global owners' community.
When I started Teslascope, I was unimpressed with the other offerings at the time and initially began its development as a passion project. I tackled prevalent issues caused by other third-party services such as vampire drain (gradual battery drain over time) and vehicle sleep so that it wouldn't impact my own vehicle. I implemented quality-of-life features such as Dark Mode, alongside SSO Login and TOTP 2FA for additional security.
Some other notable features provided include:
– Calendar, viewing historical vehicle data at a glance with a Day View for more detailed breakdowns.
– Trips, effortlessly make collections of driving and charging sessions to revisit or share with friends and family. This also displays totals for metrics such as distance, costs, and a complete trip map.
– Charging Plans, track your estimated charging costs whether at home, Supercharging, or using destination chargers. This also supports ToU plans.
– Software Updates, keep track of software updates obtained by vehicles nearby or globally, and stay up-to-date when new rollouts occur.
– Groups, create a group for your friends, local meetups, or family with support for private discussions, vehicle comparisons, and event planning.
– Multiple Vehicle Support, a combined dashboard to view the status and recent activity of all vehicles under a Tesla Account.
Over 13,500 vehicles now utilize the platform daily with more joining every day.
