I know this app is technically not being supported, but I just downloaded it and it's better than most email clients that have an active company behind it. Pretty incredible concept. Clean design and fast performance. Unlike that dumpster fire of a email client Spark. Tempo, if you're ever interested in restarting this I would pay for this shit. Amazing stuff.
2023 and i still use. This is the only client that works for me. I wish they could bring it back with the one time purchase option. I gladly invested my money on it.
Love it, just so sad they're no longer around and we no longer have updates go-forward.
I still use Tempo even though it was discontinued. Minimal design and effective inbox management. I wish it was still around to use the IOS version.
Have to re start phone 3 to 4 times a day to be able to log. Frustrating
Tempo is a superb, stripped-back product that very much achieves what it sets out to do. Productivity increases through using the batch approach and the ability to work across multiple different Gmail accounts is seamless. The team are responsive and engaged, and seem to care about the customer experience. Once they add mobile and calendar support this thing is going to completely eliminate numerous pesky chrome tabs for me, but ultimately improve my email and calendar workflow 10x 👏
I have been using tempo since 3 days ago. I has become my email client by default. The former was Spark that is also great. I have try many email client like gmail and Tempo looks greats. Let me share some insights: Design and interaction are great. You have to get used to a new concept like the "workspace" but it's a great idea to get focus. - Quick reply are great. I miss the possibility to add files. Some response is just a file attached. - I have 6 accounts connected to Tempo. I would like to be able to distinguish each mail / account with some color. Maybe a point like unread. Definitely design is super. Now the question is: it's worth 15$? I do not think so. Firstly I think superhuman has open the space for people willing to pay for email client. Sure the market is huge taking into account that we spent a lot of time in email. I also think Tempo has to put a price on theirs product but subscription is not the model that fits this category. For the maker is very appealing having a recurring cash flow like being netflix or spotify, but products or services are totally different. With email client every month you are having more or less the same product (I now more features will be added but does not make the difference) while in Netflix you have thousand of hours of new great content. In Netflix you pay for new things not to see Stranger Things 1 again. So I thing subscription is not a great decision from a financial and strategic point of view. I know plenty of people that after using superhuman during few months stop paying (and using) for it. So engagement is a great challenge. Do not forget that there are plenty of good free alternatives out there. Superhuman could do great because is a signal status product made from SV for SV guys. And now it's has a lot of hype, but hype eventually passes. Concluding, I definitely would pay 50€ for a great email client like tempo, but not a 15$ monthly fee. I would like to continue using Tempo but if not I will come back to Spark that as I said is also great. Thanks an congrats for Tempo.
