Hello 👋🏾👋🏾 August Timothy here, CEO and Co founder of Talktailor “an online community for the fashion industry”. For the past few years I have been working on this project and now, I think am ready to talk about it.
So basically, Talktailor came about from a problem I noticed while I was trying to break into fashion, fashion has always been my passion and I thought it’s only right I take it up as my occupation, that way, I will be doing what I love while making money from it but am afraid, that wasn’t the case, if anything. I got more frustrated with it and that frustration led to this innovation, leveraging tech to offer value to tailors, seamstresses and designers.
But that wasn’t enough, we needed to bring the personal attributes of fashion to play too, I mean, fashion is personal to each and everyone and our taste differs immensely but there are still some common ground for all of us, so we made more research, did more validation and voila, we developed and launched our mvp which we are still testing.
Our target market is the Nigerian fashion industry and African’s at large. We hope you all will join us in this adventure either actively by or passively through your comments and feedbacks, for they are immeasurable to us.
