The need for a sleeker, more user-friendly ChatGPT client led me to spend countless hours designing and developing my own custom client, specifically tailored to ChatGPT's users. I saw the opportunity to create something truly great, and I couldn't resist the challenge 💪🚀. Here is a list of features that it can do 🧐 Tabs: for me, the most important feature, as the original chatGPT saves the history of everything, making it an unmanageable mess to work with, so I came up with a solution that only works during an active session, similar to tabs in a browser. It comes in handy when you have multiple chats programmed and need to switch between them quickly. Gallery of prompts: another game-changing feature that I missed. The app includes a gallery of prompts that you can quickly apply to your chat, allowing you to program chatGPT to behave the way you want. Currently, the gallery is just there, but over time we will fill it with prompts that everyone will definitely use 💪 Adding your own prompt to the gallery: You can create any custom prompt and have it at your fingertips, no more copying prompts up and down from other applications. Option to favorite a prompt: If you do this, you will have listed pills above the input for writing messages in a new chat, so it's at your fingertips! Bookmarking messages: I find it more useful to save individual messages rather than the entire chat, and all saved messages can then be viewed on the Saved card (saving the whole chat coming soon). Spotlight: quick search for all prompts stored in the gallery, including those created by you. Settings: contains a few specific things to set up chatGPT like the model, temperature, and system message, which are options you can use to further specify its behavior (more settings coming soon). Modes: you can switch the assistant mode from serious answers to a fun assistant. Who wants to have a chat experience with a laugh? 🤪 And more: rendering code snippets, tables, and formatted text, copying the entire message to the clipboard, run prompt once again and many more. The web app in question is static in nature and does not possess any backend server. To run TalkinBrain, you need OpenAI API Token. Once you enter your API key, it will be securely and locally kept on your browser. Every API request originates straight from your browser/device to the OpenAI server for interacting with ChatGPT API. I hope this app proves to be as helpful for you as it has been for me.
