Hello, Producthunters! This is CEO of Student Emotions. I want to help e-learning companies make their classes better my understanding in-class emotions of their students. This way they could improve content and manage individual student motivation and engagement. The app connects to zoom or any other type of video storage, processes recordings of online classes and renders per second reports on emotions of each student, as well as some other important communicational gestures, like leaning towards the monitor, yawning, nodding, etc. That data helps to: - Improve class content - Monitor teachers performance and provide feedback - Manage student engagement and motivation - Predict student performance and take early action For more info see deck: https://www.beautiful.ai/player/...

@garintheengineer Great idea. I am a teacher with many years of experience and how much I work and study the emotions of students and concluded that emotions are very dependent on the complexity of the educational process, and I can also recognize by emotions the student has completed written work or bought. I see plagiarism and rewrite text very well but sometimes I make concessions for diligent students and close my eyes to it. It would be very interesting to know the results of the study of your detector.

This can have a huge impact if used properly, especially for people that teach big groups and can't really "track" each student while doing other things! Are there limits or requirements in order to get an accurate analysis?

@dragos1 Thank you for support. The algorithms used for emotions detection are pretty solid across all age groups and ethnicity. Sampling accuracy is also set to each second for videos shorter that 10 minutes. I guess it is as good as one can get. Best results are achieved when processing videos from students web cam, where the face is clearly visible. Normally it is a zoom recording gallery view.

Hey, Anna. Thanks for your support. Actually this one is a web app which doesn't require installation. But for a business customer, they normally have their own video storage, so we do integration ourselves.
