I've been using Splitwise Pro (paid version) for years. I usually organize the groups and transactions but now that the Free version now has a 2-3 transaction per day limit anyone that doesn't have Pro is barely able to use the application. In addition they added 10 second ads between those 2-3 transactions.
I took yearly subscription for Rs.999 and they started charging me monthly 149.

App is helpful when travelling with friends, used a free version a couple of times and it does the job, making the expenses split much easier
After years of being a happy user I'm now thinking of switching to other apps because Splitwise just decided to hardsell the pro by adding a 10s ad for every transaction added AND limit us to 4 transactions per day. The pro subscription is too costly for something so simple so meh
Do NOT use this app. It does not work and only created a headache for us when traveling to Spain as a group.
Easy distribution of expenses but sometimes expense distribution is not clear...

Gone are the days of uncouth disputes over trivial expenditures, for this application orchestrates financial fairness with the grace of a seasoned comptroller. The seamless interface, devoid of superfluous ornamentation, facilitates effortless tracking of debts and credits, elevating financial responsibility to a matter of near-ceremonial precision. One finds solace in its automated calculations, sparing the mind from vexatious arithmetic. The ability to integrate varied currencies renders it an indispensable companion for globetrotters and cosmopolitans. However, one laments the occasional rigidity in customizing expense categories, where greater fluidity would be most welcome. The gentle reminders it dispatches exude the civility of a diplomatic envoy rather than the irksome nagging of a debtor. Splitwise is not merely an application; it is an etiquette manual for financial harmony, executed with the decorum befitting modern gentry.
