Hello Product Hunt,
First of all, thank you for checking out my latest app - Splaf 😊
Is it just another camera app? Kind of it is but with a little twist. Generally, you need to figure out and set manually all the settings such as shutter speed, white balance temperature, and tint values if you want to take pro-like photos and it may get too complex or exhausting for users aged -18 and 45+
The app currently is available on the App Store as a minimum viable product for $0.99. It provides cinematic-colors, ideal light and, speed settings for four most common use cases (sports🥎, portrait👩🏼🎨, landscape🏔 and, food🍚) with one press.
With Splaf, I aimed to create a camera app that lets everyone capture their important moments in the highest possible quality with the lowest possible effort and I’ll keep developing and updating the app based on feedback with this mission.
Upcoming Features;
Real-time bokeh effect while on portrait mode. (Currently, the app gives you the option to enable the bokeh effect/portrait effect while you're editing the photo in the library.)
Smoothing camera changes on multiple-camera devices.
Also, I will strongly consider implementing any of your requests.
Would you like to test Splaf?
If your answer is yes, I would gladly give you a promo code just send a message to me on twitter(@splaf5) or instagram(@splafapp)
@tolgapekyorur I'd love to try this out, heading out for a dinner party now - Ample use case for the food setting. How does this handle low light? (compared to the night mode on my 11pro). Also do you do some sort of full camera stack or do you use the built in camera module and apply an effect on top of it?
@hsus Hello Jesper, First of all thank you for your interest I tried to reach out you on twitter to give a promo code but unfortunately I can’t send you direct message on twitter. If you can start conversation on twitter with me (@splaf5) I will happily send you a promo code. On the other hand, currently app prioritizes quality while in a low light situation
