Hi All Creating a social network these days can be quite a challenge but what is life without challenges ... Spiral is a new Social Network designed from the ground up to solve the echo chamber and bubble filters of the algorithm based social networks, the misinformation and fake news. All in all, the purpose of Spiral is to make it easier to fight our natural tendency to settle for information that matches our beliefs without checking, try to understand or even just be aware of other opinions. We managed to do that with a feature called "Topic" which is an area of interest around it users can create or join communities and meet people with the same interest. Users can add any topic to their favorites and thus be exposed to all the opinions, feelings and ideas of all users in a dedicated topic wall. But that’s not all, users can also easily focus on communities related to their favorite topics but still not the same. For example, if one of your interests is the topic of "Black Lives Matter" you can not only get to know people and all posts and information from all communities with the same interests but also and seamlessly with people and communities from "All Lives Matter" or "Blue Lives Matter" even if you didn’t know those opposite views exists. Other features let users control their privacy and social flexibility by the ability to create up to 3 personas and use them separately on the app, create 2 separate communities walls, determine the expiration date for their posts or the posts on their created communities and blogs, chats and much more. All with colorful and intuitive interface. I must say that I’m very proud of what the team has accomplished over the last years with Spiral and I can’t wait to hear our community’s feedback on it. 🏠 Here you can check Spiral website: https://spiral.social 🔽 Here you can download Spiral for Android (Soon the IOS version will be available)

@brandon_cccc thanks for your comment. Spiral flips the script on traditional social networks by elevating the concept of Hashtags to 'Topics,' creating ecosystems where everyone and everything revolves around shared interests. By centralizing users and communities within specific Topics, we aim to drastically shrink filter bubbles, combat misinformation and giving users the full spectrum of thoughts, feelings and ideas while simultaneously fostering unexpected connections between diverse communities and users who wouldn't typically cross paths. Spiral Topics are based on Wikipedia article titles enabling users to create communities around them. All communities linked to a topic are intertwined, forming a unified feed showcasing diverse perspectives and sparking vibrant discussions. For your Wikipedia page, Spiral can be the bridge between you and a dynamic, interactive community. Organizations, celebrities, politicians, and anyone with a Wikipedia page can now unlock vibrant communities around their profile using Spiral. This innovative platform extends their Wikipedia presence, creating a space for clients, fans, and supporters to engage, collaborate, and share their perspectives. Hope this helps

This is one of the coolest ideas I've seen today. So smart to use the corpus of data that Wikipedia has as the building blocks for a social platform. Congrats on the launch!
