Thanks @rrhoover ✨
Hi everyone! I’m Laurent - @ldesserrey - and this is my latest experiment. It’s called Snapchatters™ - The missing “Explore” section of Snapchat.
When Snapchat launched the “Story” feature, some people went from creating Private to Public content. That's when I had the idea to humbly curate a website where I could share the one I liked.
I added some context to their usernames - their full names and personal websites, a GIF to see their faces and a short description.
If you want to submit a Snapchatter, email me at laurent.desserrey@gmail.com. I review every single one by watching their stories during one week minimum. Anyone who stands out from the crowd will be added to Snapchatters, simple as that.

@kkliman From snapchatters who recommend other snapchatters in their stories and from submissions on the website. I add them on my personal Snapchat account - @ldesserrey. I review every single one by watching their stories during one week minimum. Anyone who stands out from the crowd will be added to Snapchatters, simple as that.
I've been watching the rise of Snapchat celebrities, something that occurs in almost every popular UGC service like YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Snapchat currently provides no way to discover or browse for people to follow. Snapchatters is a good first attempt at surfacing personalities to follow and I really like the animated GIF presentation, (my homie @msg made list):
@ldesserrey why'd you build this?
@immatthamlin Yes I did :) This "QR"-like code is actually private - but most of them have shared it on social medias. Also, it's not efficient if you browse the website on a smartphone. Let's see in the near future.
@ldesserrey@immatthamlin +1 to matt - I think having the snapchat QR- code for people to scan right there would increase the value you are already bringing
