Pre-order instead of Pre-seed. For years we’ve seen great products come and go. Often because they begin their journey by raising capital from investors instead of customers. With Slim, we would like to change that by replacing pre-seed with pre-orders. We hope by doing so, we can build a lasting solution that evolves with our customer’s needs. The story behind the product We are the team behind OpenPurpose, a global design agency and OFC, a community-driven software engineering studio. A while ago, as we were growing Roadmap (now part of OFC), we stumbled upon a gap in our toolstack. A visual overview of our customers journey, from different tools like like Stripe, Intercom, Amplitude, Fullstory etc in one simple place. So we built Slim for ourselves. @blankresident Well done! This is a huge f'ing gap in analytics today. Previously the only way to solve it was to have a data engineer deep dive and build it out custom. I'd love to see this tool grow into helping you identify opportunities to move core metrics, but even just measuring them like this is super helpful. Just a simple integration with Stripe puts you far ahead of other platforms.
