Hey Product Hunters, It's Julianna here, one of the makers of SliceTube. As a tech-savvy individual, you likely understand the frustration that can come with trying to find a reliable tool for downloading videos from YouTube. The options available online can often be sketchy, requiring the download of standalone apps and delivering subpar results when it comes to downloading and trimming YouTube videos. For my first indie project, I wanted to create a straightforward solution that can be accessed directly from anyone's web browser. What makes SliceTube special from other YouTube downloaders? ✅ Supports up to 4k videos ✅ Supports all common formats ✅ No ads. Period. ✅ Blazingly fast processing I have future plans to add some cool additional features to the app. I had a great response from many creators while using SliceTube in beta, and it encouraged me to officially launch it on Product Hunt. I feel so proud to offer SliceTube to the PH community. If you've had enough of the frustrating, unreliable YouTube downloaders out there, it's time to try SliceTube. I'd like for you to experience the convenience and peace of mind it provides. If you are a creator, please give it a try and see the difference it can make for yourself.

@itsmejulianna Looks very convenient! Often its time-consuming to trim and download videos from Youtube, but this looks promising! Will definitely try it out.

@mahad_kamran Thanks Minha! :)

It works smoothly! Only feedback, there's a weird interaction with the "clipboard" and permissions requests at the start of the journey, where my browser was asking to access my clipboard and I was like - ermh probably let's not do that until I know what exactly you're trying to do :) Keep it up Julianna and team!

That's cool! One feature some people might need is actually thumbnail extraction, do you plan to add it?
Julianna
@artkulakov Yes I do. I have few other items on roadmap as well like embeds, editing canvas, video manager etc :)
