Making a side project can be time consuming and overwhelming. To help with this, I've created a list of many Indie Maker's tech stacks and I've built a recommendation app to find the best tools to make your next project (recommendations are no-code tools).
This is the 2nd launch from Side Project Stack. View more
Get Stackd 2.0
Get the best no-code tech stack to make your next app ๐
If you want to make a no-code project, what are the best tools to use? Where should you start?
To help with this, I've created version 2.0 of Get Stackd. It's a recommendation app (built with no-code ๐ฅ) to find the best no-code tools to make your next project.
@coda_hq@zapier@hoeycodes Thanks Joey for the stack! Can you point me to any projects that you've used with this? Happy to add it to the site and bring some awareness.
Hello Everyone๐๐ผ,
This is a massive overhaul and update to the original version of Get Stackd. An app that recommends the best no-code tools to make your project. All the recommendations are based on actual successful projects built and shipped with no-code.
๐จThe problem:
I've spent too much time figuring out what are the best tools to use to create a no-code project. And I've always found it insanely valuable to see how other makers built theirs.
One of the most popular questions I see asked and have been asked in the Maker community is, "where do I start?" And, "what no-code tools did you use to build it?"
๐ฅThe solution:
Create a way for anyone to discover the best no-code tools to use and help you make that thing you want to do.
What's different with version 2.0? It's much, much more customized with no-code stack recommendations. And since launching in August 2019, I've interviewed and discussed with dozens of insanely talented Makers in the no-code space, to understand why they chose the tools they used. All the recommendations are sourced from Makers.
Get Stackd is built off of the Making community who pays it forward. Makers helping other Makers. It's the essence of why I love what I do and made this. I hope that it helps you.
What's new:
1. Variations: 1000+ different variations of no-code stacks to use
2. Analyzed: Your idea + your skill level + complexity of what you want to build are now heavily factored in
3. Mobile App Rec's: What are the best no-code tools to use to create a native mobile app?
๐คThe part you might find most interesting is these stack recommendations are based on real data points from actual successful no-code projects.
๐๐ฝIt is my hope that this version 2.0 helps reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed when starting, and allows Makers to spend more time talking to users, marketing their product...less time building.
I hope you check it out.
Special thanks to these Makers who have helped me to this point to launch:
@5harath@noahmakes@thisiskp_@gill_works@craigjbarber@_danielmeade@HainingMax@naz_09@kurtybot
๐๐ฝOH and one last thing... The stack I used to build Get Stackd:
-Typeform
-Airtable
-Zapier
-Gmail
๐๐ผWhat is your tech stack?๐๐ผ
Leave a comment ๐ below and I'll add it to the list. ๐
@derekwilliamson Hey Derek thanks for the feedback it means a lot. I hope it saves you and Makers some time. That's one of the pain points I wanted to help alleviate. I have burned a lot of time using the wrong tools to build something. Instead of trying the most popular tool, you can find the best tool for what you have to make.
