@mastef I like the idea of reducing the amount of effort in drafting these investor updates (and more generally, the operational things that go in running a businesses), but I'm very skeptical this will actually reduce the amount of work I have to do. I still need to send them metrics and relay information I want to communicate with investors (that's not something I'd ever outsource). Am I missing something?
@rrhoover If you have your own update flow that's ok. And if you like to do those things yourself - pitchXO offers those as Google Sheet connectors already.
We started it for other Startups who were actually doing the monthly updates themselves, and the CEO didn't find the time to do everything himself anymore ( focus on biz/growth, delegate the grunt work ).
Having that monthly interview call, which gets shorter every month, is a nicer way to just focus on things and get them out of your system. And then our team focuses on keeping those emails short enough and collecting the proper KPI. ( The writing up part and hunting for the data are the parts which take up the most time so far. )
The other part is about keeping potential investors every month in the loop, so they actually stay interested and updated with your company on their mind. Same with updating employees, biz partners, etc. It's simply too many to keep updated 1:1.
It starts always small, and then over time the different mailing lists grow. So doing it yourself in the start is perfectly fine! But when your attention span decreases on the monthly task and you want to focus on product growth and start hiring and training a PA to do that stuff - that's where we come in.

The report itself is not automated and based on what's happening in your company and how it's structured.
From testing the different formats we identified so far that keeping it very simple for investors and stakeholders ( KPI + short updates per section ) has a much higher open-rate/doesn't overload potential investors. But if you'd e.g. like more images, graphs, heck.. even more text - it's all do-able up to the customers' desires.
In the end it's a PA service, and the report is customized to your needs. Hope that addressed your issue!
