Hello Product Hunt! I'm @uartnet, a Software Engineer focused on product development and deeply passionate about networking. After years of working with Linux systems, I often needed to share files between machines easily and securely. This led me to design my own solution, tailored for simplicity and security. Introducing a straightforward, secure, and free solution to share files directly from your terminal. Hereโ€™s what it offers: - End-to-end encryption: Your files are encrypted from the moment they leave your device until they reach the recipient. - Temporary links: Download links expire after 24 hours, ensuring your files don't stay online longer than necessary. - File size limit: Transfer up to 100 MB per file, which is sufficient for most administrative tasks. - 100% free: No account required, no hidden fees. I personally cover the server costs to keep it running. As a network hobbyist, I wanted a tool that saves time, boosts productivity, and doesn't compromise security. Whether you're transferring files between servers, sharing data with colleagues, or just need a quick way to send something to a friend, this solution is designed to keep your workflow smooth. Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the tool. Your upvotes and comments would mean the world to me and help improve the product. Thank you for checking it out!

Congrats on the launch! I love that it's available for free to try it out. Any plans on open-sourcing the backend part?
@uartnet
@semanser Thank you for your message! No plans yet to open source the backend code, but I do plan to let people inspect the client-side code (and verify its integrity). I'll also be writing some blog articles about the tech stack behind it. Stay tuned!
