I’ve been building this full time for the last year while doing SEO consulting part time. 🚀 TL;DR 1. Monitor your Website Metrics. Includes all your top SEO metrics such as Rankings 1-3, 1-10, 1-20, 1-100, Keywords Indexed, New Keywords, Pages Indexed, New Pages, Page Clicks, Page Impressions, Page CTR, Average Positions, Total Backlinks and New Backlinks. 2. Advanced Rank Tracking with Customised Sorting. Rank tracking sorted by Desktop, Mobile and Tablet rankings with categories for top keyword traffic, top keyword rankings, most improved keywords, declined keywords, new keywords indexed and lost keywords. 3. Backlink Tracking - Track the link, traffic from the link and linking page. 4. Universal Plugin - Change search appearance (Title and Description) on any website or technology stack. 5. A/B Testing - Test your website, website page or a specific keyword for SEO changes. 6. Reporting - Receive daily, weekly or monthly reports with your important metrics. Can also brand reports with your logo for agencies and consultants. ❓ Why build another SEO Tool? I’m already using X… Data Accuracy: Most SEO tools use “scrapped” search data. This used to be an accurate way to see real rank positions but recently due to increased personalization and hyper local results this data is becoming more and more inaccurate. Google Search Console data (which we use) on the other hand uses real results from users so is far more accurate. Pricing: Most products price in website blocks of 5 with pricing starting at $119/Mo. So if you have 6 websites you’re effectively paying for 10 websites. We price per website and based on size of the website which is much fairer pricing for small websites. Our smallest plan for example is only $4.95/Mo Testing: We believe there is not enough testing being done in the SEO space and most people running tests are using spreadsheets or custom scripts. We decided to create an easy way to run time based tests on a whole website, a group of pages or a group of keywords and display the essential SEO metrics with percentage changes before and after the test. Plugins don’t exist for a specific Site Builder/Tech Stack/JAMstack: More and more I was coming across websites being built in multiple tech stacks or using a single JAMstack backend. e.g Shopify(store) + Hugo(blog) + Guides(GitHub Pages). I kept getting asked by marketing teams whether we could change SEO settings for these different sites in one place so I built our Universal Plugin. Copy and paste the javascript snippet inside your page header and you can change the search appearance for any site or tech backend. Think of a universal Yoast plugin, only better! Right now you can only change title/description but I’m working on a big upgrade soon. Performance: Most products in the space take 3+ seconds to return ranking and metrics on large datasets and/or large timeframes. I wanted to be 2x faster than my competitors at a minimum so I did heavy performance tuning to return most results no matter how big in less than 1 second. Rank Tracking Limits: Competitor tools I used in the past would cap keywords tracked to between 5,000 and 10,000 keywords per day maximum and require you to manually add the keywords. Even Google Search Console will cap out at 1000 Keywords shown inside of the UI. Searchramen automatically tracks every keyword for your website up to a maximum of 500,000 per day with positions for desktop, mobile and tablet. This means we can track up to 1.5 million positions per day for a single website. Lengthy Report Setup: We wanted to generate reports without configuration so we standardised on one template. There are pros and cons to both methods but we feel generating reports instantly much more beneficial than trying to add and remove sections. Replace spreadsheets with automation: Every SEO professional I’ve met uses spreadsheets religiously. Our goal is to replace these spreadsheets with functionality and automation inside of our application. Unlimited users: Because our pricing is per website you can add as many users as you want to the platform so it doesn’t matter how big your marketing team is, everyone can be on the same page. 🍜 Feedback Needed.
