Shyaan and I built SalahTime to make it easier for us to stay spiritually grounded, even on our busiest days. It’s simple, practical, and exactly what your calendar has been praying for.
This is my first time building and launching something, and turns out working as a software engineer doesn't 100% translate to building and launching something. There's so much work, thought and sweat we put into making this into something we love to use. We're curious to hear what you think!
@msmanek and @shyaan_khan thank you so much for building this. I’ve been creating recurring events on my calendar and it sucks to have to try and maintain it. Love this. In Sha Allah I’ll be able to prioritize prayer times over meetings :)
@msmanek and I know how hard it can be to prioritize one of the most important pillars of our faith in today’s busy world.
Finding time to make Salah during our busy schedules can be a burden, and we've struggled to find a good solution to ensure consistency, and more importantly, timeliness.
Prayer apps will notify you when it’s time to pray, but if you’re caught up in work or meetings, it’s easy to miss. Manual calendar blocks can be helpful, but they don’t adapt to the changing prayer times, and they’re rarely set right on time.
That’s why we’ve built SalahTime—to help us prioritize praying on time, every time.
We’d love to hear your thoughts, your feedback will help us shape SalahTime into something truly impactful!
A Google calendar plugin that automatically populates prayer times and notifications? Exactly what I was looking for!! By far the most useful productivity tools I've used recently.
