Hey PH builder community - happy to launch RivalSense. It is a self-serve product with a 14-day free trial available to everyone. We are here for your feedback and suggestions. WHY WE BUILT RIVALSENSE How often have you heard these 2 mutually contradictory pieces of startup advice? It's a paradox. (1) Focus on your users, not on your competition (2) A great founder should have strong knowledge of the market - what everyone is building, how everyone is acquiring users, who are they partnering with I was fed up with hearing these two when building my previous startup - I think there is a grain of truth in both. Of course, users are the most important, but there is value in having good awareness of what your competitors are doing. Even following your existing B2B clients can be hard, because you do not want to spend your day Googling different companies and checking their X and Linkedin posts. We wanted to build something that resolves this paradox. Yes, I want to learn what my competitors or key accounts are doing, but I don't want to spend more than 5 minutes per week doing this. HOW RIVALSENSE WORKS RivalSense sends you a weekly AI-curated email newsletter highlighting the most important insights uncovered about the companies you are interested in. The newsletter primarily focuses on things with commercial significance - pricing changes, new product features, new partnerships, changes in tech stack, new hires, content marketing initiatives, financial filings and more. Some cool examples of insight types: 🌐 Small, important changes in company websites https://rivalsense.co/i/RPoBIOD0... 𝕏 Public Linkedin or X posts from company employees https://rivalsense.co/i/bMGMrZAW... 🗞️ Interesting mentions in media of the company, company founders or beneficial owners https://rivalsense.co/i/UFMrWj7A... 🤝🏻 Public info on employees joining or leaving the company https://rivalsense.co/i/KawrXteQ... 📄 Public job listings https://rivalsense.co/i/MKSDexyv...  Changes in company App Stores pages / Github repos / Government registers https://rivalsense.co/i/mggoUeo5... We were inspired by the Morning Brew newsletter and The Economist Espresso news briefing. A short, clean, curated newsletter that can be read by a busy founder or executive in 5 minutes or less. The core innovation behind the product is to use the possibilities of LLMs. We want to not not simply provide a long list of keyword mentions, but to filter out the noise and only show valuable, actionable insights, presented in short, readable bullet points. HOW TO GET STARTED Everyone can enjoy a 2 week long free trial of RivalSense. No card required. During this trial, you will receive 3 weekly email updates. To get started, head to the RivalSense website and click “Start free trial”. You will then have to input at least 4 companies you are interested in following, as well as provide your email. Once that is done, you will receive your first insight email the next day! If you like what you see in the product, you will be able to choose to start your regular RivalSense subscription. That will also unlock additional RivalSense features, like multiple email recipients and a Slack integration. Feel free to explore our Pricing plans once you have started your free trial. Looking forward to getting honest feedback from the Product Hunt community! We are here to improve our product!

@martins_vaivars very clever solution to a real founder's dilemma! Great to see that you're not just doing basic keyword monitoring, but using LLMs to actually provide commercially significant changes (pricing updates, new features, etc.). That's powerful! Congrats on the launch!
Mārtiņš Vaivars
@jan_ber Appreciate it, Jan! I think that is one of the most powerful innovations of RivalSense - noticing and providing commercial interpretation for website changes. For example, we have found things like: (a) a new vendor added to Privacy Policy, (b) new, unexpected tech stack requirements added to a Developer job listing, (c) changes to the required fields in the signup funnel

@martins_vaivars So Good!! I just wonder about the frequency of the updates - How often does it look into my competitors' activities? how often do I get updated? In my case, I check for competitor activities and those activities are not all created equal. There are some thing, like them releasing a new product/feature or them pushing a promotion or limited-time deal. These are more time-sensitive which may require us to react tactically -just an example-. Is there a way to set certain events as "notify me daily". and other categories as "notify me monthly" or something like that?
Mārtiņš Vaivars
@maru_rivera1 Thanks, interesting feedback. We currently do everything once a week, but could introduce an additional plan for daily updates - this has been a request from some of the first users. But such a plan will have to be more expensive because of higher data processing / AI model costs.
Mārtiņš Vaivars
@maru_rivera1 But interesting points, especially about the UI approach with different alert frequencies for different types of events! Thank you!

We've known the product and the team already for some time. Using theirs is the easiest way to roll out market and competitor inteligence for your whole team 🥰 My only regret was that we had to use much heavier products in the past 😁
Mārtiņš Vaivars
@petr_antropov1 Thank you, Petr, for being one of the early believers. That was one of our key concerns - how can we use LLMs to create a lightweight, simple product that still gets the job done for monitoring companies, like competitors or key accounts.

Launching soon!
Finally, a competitor tracking tool that doesn't feel like a full-time job! Love how RivalSense boils everything down to a 5-minute weekly read - exactly what I need to stay informed without falling into the rabbit hole of endless competitor research. The AI curation catching things like pricing changes and tech stack updates is super valuable, and the Morning Brew-style format makes it actually enjoyable to read. Started my free trial to track our top 4 competitors - the no-credit-card signup was a nice touch! 🎯

@_ivan1 Thanks, Ivan - pleasant to hear positive feedback. We really wanted to use the power of LLMs. Morning Brew definitely was an inspiration.
