Hi hunters 👋, we are excited to launch one of our biggest updates to Replica Studios. Introducing Voice Director - our new web-based Voice AI product suite, which includes advanced text-to-speech and speech-to-speech and multi-language capabilities and plenty more. Our Voice Library has over 100 AI voices, with distinct accents and speaking styles. Voice Director helps individual and professional content creators and audio producers to quickly and easily produce natural sounding voice overs and dialogue. We are also very excited to showcase our newest stand out feature called Voice Lab, which is a prompt-to-voice interface that enables creators to custom design their unique sounding voices, with individual accents and speaking styles, all built from the ground up with an ethical and responsible AI approach. At Replica we are proud to develop Ethical Voice AI products. We license our training data from a growing network of voice actors, ensuring best practices around consent and compensation. We are honored to be the first AI company to partner with SAG-AFTRA, and pioneer AI licensing models that create new revenue streams for actors and talent. Upvoted! The potential s is dangling in front of creators is wild. Thousands of voices out of thin air,that’s like finding the holy grail for indie game devs and animators on a shoestring budget. The quality of voices can be hit or miss in AI - do the voices bear repeat listens without getting stale or robotic?

worth mentioning they did remove all the credits everyone had earned to change the payment model so all the people who had been supporting them from the start got a big fat get lost from them but they still want us to upvote them on platforms like this also worth pointing out if they remove a voice without warning you can no longer use that voice so if you are half way through a project using a voice all that money spent creating said lines of voice is wasted

@shadow_shadow1 appreciate you sharing your feedback, and apologies if you were mid way through a project and had a voice taken off the platform. It is an consequence of our ethical AI voice licensing model, that we allow our voice actor partners to choose whether or not they wish to continue hosting their voice on Replica when their contract comes up for renewal - we do not 'buy out' voices with a 1 time payment as that would be terribly unfair to the actor, they get paid 1 time and then we/our users continue benefitting off of their talent forever. We have developed the most ethical and legal licensing structure so that we build AI solutions in harmony with artists and creators, and we hope that other companies would find similar structures where GenAI can benefit the artists who's work was used as training data. That being said, we obviously don't want the other extreme where our customers are having to lose out, so very much appreciate your feedback on this, and apologize deeply if your project was affected. As for the change in payment model, we actually invested a significant amount of dev effort to ensure that our existing users from our early access payment models would be allowed to retain all their accrued credits until they were completely used up, after which, they could then choose to become subscribers to the new payment method. We had several emails and messages to indicate this would take place, perhaps you may have missed those messages or might have inadvertently chosen to move over to the subscription model? Anyway, I just wanted to point out that in fact we took into account the support from our early users and spent time and effort putting in place measures so you would be able to continue using Replica under the old model until exhausting all your credits. Anyway, would you please email us at contact@replicastudios.com with your user account so we can find a way to re-instate any credits you may have lost on account of this.
