Screenshot organization and smart search, for effortless memory retrieval. Categorized screenshots by keywords, topic, and source -- so that you can find the memory you're looking for.
Hi everyone! Makers of Relephant here 👋
The problem we're trying to solve is one that everyone here has probably experienced.
Ever had something stuck on the tip of your tongue - an article that you vaguely remember and want to share but can't find, a Slack conversation where important decisions were made but got lost amongst the countless channels?
"Oh, where did I see that message/document/file?" 🤔The average person spends half an hour at work every day just looking for information.
With Relephant you'll always have the answer. We created an easy process to save and retrieve content on your laptop or phone. Take a screenshot if something *could* be useful in the future. Store anything at all. We'll organize it so you can effortlessly retrieve it when you need it.
# How It Works
1. 📸You take a screenshot as you normally would, using your device's native shortcuts. (⌘ + ⇧ + 4 on a Mac)
2. 🤖Relephant accesses your screenshot camera roll then uses computer vision to extract context and text.
3. 🧠When you want to retrieve a piece of info, just ask Relephant.
Relephant is already changing the way we use screenshots for knowledge capture. We take more of them, knowing that they'll be categorized in case we need to access them in the future. And we spend way less time looking for that Slack message, file, or email.
We hope you'll like it as much as we do 🤗

Wow, Cathy, Zain, and I are incredibly humbled by the outpouring of interest. Thank you, hunters 🙇🏻♂️
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Based on your helpful feedback, we changed this to $0.99 as a way to save your spot in our Pre-Launch Waitlist.
Looking forward to becoming your standard system for knowledge capture, storage, and retrieval 😁📸🧠
@zan2434@cathy_chen
@zan2434@cathy_chen@stedmanblake This looks like a great product idea, but I'm afraid the payment model is still a little unclear. Is it $0.99 just to earn a spot on the waitlist or is that the pre-launch price of the product? The worst thing that could happen is have someone pay the $0.99 thinking they paid for the product only to tell them that they need to pay another $X to actually use the product. If that's the case, I'd rather wait for the product to launch, test drive it, and then choose to pay.
@zan2434@cathy_chen@stedmanblake@alirtariq Ali is totally right. I was quite excited until I run into the 0.99 "reserve a spot" gate. Very unclear what you would be paying for. If it was to be an early bird price for lifetime, I'd buy right away. If it is a "reserve me a spot" for 0.99, I'd never come back again.
@zan2434@cathy_chen@stedmanblake echoing @alirtariq and @robingood~ what exactly do we get for the $0.99. Based on the copy it seems that we just get a spot in line for the exchange and no trial or test of the product. Any clarification would be helpful.
@zan2434@cathy_chen@stedmanblake@alirtariq@robingood@juan_perez2 you're going to lose a lot of interest forever if these questions aren't addressed soon. it's clear that people are willing to pay $0.99 for what you're promising, but the lack of response regarding the paywall will forever make this smack of a scam until you clarify what we're getting in return.
I need this product. If I had a mobile app (similar to Google Photos) which could pull out all my screenshots and remove them from Photos, while also providing search, it would unlock a ton of valuable context.
If it also pulled my desktop shortcuts (similar to how Dropbox) and unified that, it just made shortcuts a power feature.
@davefontenot yes! You can do full search over whatever text we detect in the screenshot, even if it's handwritten. We also make any objects, names, etc. we can find searchable. Happy searching!
@zan2434 oh wow honestly most of my photos on my computer are just screenshots of various things and at least once a day i find myself scouring through all the screenshots for a certain day to find one thing i want to reference. i take even more screenshots on mobile though. do yall work on iOS yet?
