ReelMind v1.0 Launching in Silicon Valley! 🚀
When film obsession meets code obsession - meet the AI video playground that stole 200 GPUs and my sanity
As a clinical-grade "hyper-passion" mutant (proof: binge-coding this through 15 nights while rewatching Game of Thrones twice), I present:
ReelMind - The Prometheus of cinematic AI
This open-source beast is built for those who see video as alchemy:
• 200+ GPU inferno - Render Cersei's walk of shame in 4K NSFW glory (yes we went there 🔥)
• Hollywood SFT Lab - Pre-processed datasets + one-click LoRA training
• Agent Ecosystem - From script doctors to VFX gnomes
• The Forbidden Layer - Community-driven model evolution (democratizing what studios keep behind $10M doors)
Why this matters?
Video is the final boss of AI - requiring orchestration of language models, temporal witchcraft, and that indescribable je ne sais quoi we call "soul". Our north star? Building the Movie General Intelligence (MGI) - the digital deity that'll make Scorsese and A24 beg for collabs.
This isn't some garage experiment. Our team comes armed with battle scars from scaling AI video accounts to 300M+ views (RIP sleep cycles). Now we're going nuclear:
Join our open-source crusade to:
🪓 Slay the "AI video is soulless" dragon
🎬 Equip indie creators with studio-grade magic
🍿 Build the Church of Cinema 2.0 where NSFW Loras and Oscar-bait models coexist
Warning: May cause
Keyboard meltdowns from 72hr coding sprints
Existential debates about AI-generated "Red Wedding" scenes
Occasional ER visits when passion overloads circuit breakers ⚡
To the dreamers who believe films should be made by humans... assisted by demonic AI muses – let's get clinically obsessed.
Bon courage,
The Mad Cinephile Who Forgot What Sunlight Looks Like
Reelmind
ReelMind promises Hollywood magic but delivers broken buttons and GPU fumes - it barely works, feels half-baked, and looks like it was coded during a Red Bull coma.
First 30 min wait, and then forever loading.

@nxame Hi there 👋
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience — we're really sorry to hear that it didn’t live up to your expectations.
ReelMind is still in its early days, and while we're working hard to bring powerful, cinematic AI video generation to life, it’s clear from your feedback that we’ve got important work to do. Long wait times and broken UI are definitely not the experience we want for anyone.
Would you be open to sharing more details on what didn’t work as expected? Specifically, we’d love to know:
Which part of the app had broken buttons or wasn’t responsive?
Was the loading issue during video generation or somewhere else?
Were you using the web app on desktop or mobile?
This kind of input really helps us improve quickly — and we truly appreciate your honesty. We're pushing updates frequently, and we’d love to invite you back soon for a smoother, faster experience. 💜
Thank you again for giving us a try. If you’re open to it, we’d love to make things right.
— The ReelMind Team 🎬✨
@okeii Thanks for following up. Here are my observations:
Platform: Desktop Chrome (v…), Next.js web app.
Broken UI: The “Favorites” button and the main “Generate” button never respond.
Console errors: Bunch of nextjs errors on console and /user/favorites API (“Get favorites failed”).
Loading issue: After ~30 min hang at “Processing…,” it always throws a “Processing Error.”
Prompt limit: 1,300 char cap truncates inputs.
Output: Generates a random “ghost” image, not related to the prompt.
