React Jam

Hey everyone! 👋 This is Bjarke, co-organizer of React Jam. We’re really excited to share React Jam with you! React Jam is a first-of-its-kind online event where React devs create a game in 10 days. React has taken over mobile + desktop app development with respectively React Native and Electron. We believe now it’s time for React devs take over game development! We’ve gotten some amazing judges and sponsors from the React and game dev communities to support React Jam. It'll be an awesome fun event for everyone to come together, learn, and win prizes! Our hope is that React Jam will help the millions of React developers create their first game. With their seamless playability across platforms and easy shareability, React-based games are likely to set the bar for the next generation of games. The React Jam website contains some resources on how to make games, definitely us know if there's great game development resources we should share with the community. ReactJam provides an excellent opportunity for participants to showcase their work and potentially win prizes, but more importantly, it allows them to gain valuable experience and to expand their network of contacts. Overall, ReactJam is a great event for anyone interested in React and web development. Congrats on the launch! :)
