this is a scam, your link that you asked for free and was told it is free will be redirected and they will ask for money
Like so many other users who have posted reviews, I was scammed into believing that QR.io was a free QR code generator like it is explicitly marketed as. It is not. I printed the QR code on my wedding invitations (with no mention of free trial periods or later payments) and am now being held as a hostage of sorts. Either pay them an insane amount of money, or spend an insane amount of money to resend all of my wedding invitations. 0/5 stars. Do not use. Spread the word.
Please never use this company!!! This is my first 1star review. Horrible experience. They market themselves as a free QR Code Generator and after a few days, the QR Code expires and then you need to pay a significant amount of money monthly to be able to use that code. I printed mine on a huge amount of flyers that I can not use anymore . On their website is marketed as free, even it says that you can use your QR Code created during the trial period. It is not stated that it is valid just for a few days. If I have a trial period on Canva and create a video then post it on my Instagram, that video will not dissapear from my Instagram profile because my trial period on Canva ended. This is just ridiculous, time consuming and it shows a big lack of respect towards their customers.
a predatory company. do not use their products. they advertise free tools that then cost obscene amounts, preying on small businesses. two days before my upcoming trip, i was informed my code had been deactivated. i had to spend hours of my workday to fix the problem, and the "monthly subscription" was nearly as much as my side-hustle business revenue. i cannot fathom operating with this level of greed.
Scammers! Made me believe its free. So i designed a QR code and tried it a couple of times and it was working. So i made 1000 (expensive metal) business cards. And now i finaly got the cards the QR code isn't working before i need to subscribe and pay monthly to get the QR code working. I'm very mad and im gonna designs new business cards and trow this away. I don't want to give money so im willing to lose money before giving them money. Scammers!!!! 0 stars.
